I was recommended to CrossFit Hurstville by another member about 6 months ago. I was nervous about joining CrossFit because whilst I was a regular gym goer I had never done CrossFit style training. From the moment I walked into the gym I was greeted by knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly staff and a support network of other CrossFit members who are constantly striving to be their best and encouraging their peers to do the same. I was comfortable from day one and now feel like a valued member of the community Paul (owner) and his team have built. I have never been as fit, as healthy, as happy or as engaged in my training as I am now, and that is a testament to the team and wider CrossFit Hurstville community.

After training at another box for many years I finally had the courage to make the move and it was the best decision I made from my health, nutrition and fitness. I’ve been pushed and encouraged harder than ever before by all the coaches and members! They have also welcomed my wife, baby daughter and I with open arms which we’ll be forever grateful for. My wife also trains and is welcome to bring our baby daughter to the kid friendly classes. This box has a community which can’t matched as it’s lead from the top down. If you’re stuck in a rut with your training, give CrossFit at this place a go! The coaches here are absolute legends, they actually care about you personally and you’re training, always trying to help individual reach their goals. If you also want to meet new people to hang out with, this box has a great environment where a bunch of legends hangout. Get in there and train hard and meet new people!

As of January I became a full time working mum and my partner moved to a different state for work. I wouldn’t know where I would be without all the amazing people I have met at your gym. Here’s a little insight- Zara helps take my kids to school on Mondays and Tuesdays, Katie helps in Friday’s, the pretty’s take my kids on play dates on Wednesday’s if I train. I have so many texts and reminders from flora that I can do anything if I put my mind to it. Wednesday’s I get to sit with an amazing group of people who make me laugh and remind me am not alone and whatever am feeling that day absolutely normal. These people make my week every week. I get to train and work knowing that I have so much support around me.

This is the best crossfit gym in the area! Everyone from the coaches to the members are warm, friendly and welcoming. The programming is done to perfection and can be adapted to any level from beginner to advance; which is amazing! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a challenge, for a new way to train, or for fun!

I wanted to get stronger so that I could keep up with my kids. I took the plunge one day and walked in and have not regretted a second of it. The trainers are understanding and cater to all sizes and level of fitness – this time 12 months ago I would have looked at the session on the board ….gasped and then turned and walked out – now I am able to push myself out of comfort zone in an environment that is supportive and totally non judgemental. I had a friend say to me that crossfit was the worst thing you could do for your joints…..I honestly can’t see why! The trainers guide you through every movement safely and will give you alternatives fit for your level and strength. I love it and now know why it’s so addictive!! My son has started too 🙂
