How long you have been a member at CrossFit Hurstville? 3 Years
What motivates you to get to the gym everyday? Sets up my day in the best possibly way, it carries a lot of importance for me to set your day up right and that starts at the gym.
What are your current training goals? To improve and be better day by day, currently focussing on my squat and ankle mobility but could easily add gymnastic movements to that list.
Favourite Exercise/Crossfit movement? Ooft, too many – MuscleUps, Dubs, Sprints on the machines, barbell movements. Going like a rabbit out the traps.
Least favourite exercise/Crossfit movement? Anything I can’t do now, HSW, Pistols, holding on for more than 5+ mins.
What has contributed to your success in the last month? A lot of encouragement from the coaches, they always seem to make one subtle comment but it does volumes in how I approach that exercise – wouldn’t be here without them. Also having the option to do extra sessions and focus on mobility & stretching work.
In 50 words or less describe your CrossFit Hurstville Experience?
I have met a lot of individual athletes who have seen results because of their own effort and years of training and dedication but CFH is the first gym I’ve seen where you see results daily because of the training programme and coaching team, from all sorts of different abilities and personalities. Hands down the best programme and best coaching team that support your goals whether you recognise them or not. PB’s are a daily occurrence and that to me is very very special.
